New legislation does not spring from a vacuum. A great deal about today's proposed laws can be learned by looking at the past efforts of legislatures and specific lawmakers. The Naturist Action Committee has archived these legislative bill texts from the 2000 legislative season to be used as a tool for understanding the background and context of current legislation.

These are not official texts, but NAC has made every effort to keep them faithful to the originals.
